Environmental Conservation, Restoration and Sustainability: Enrolment for Academic Year 2025/2026

Admission Requirements

Admission to the Master’s Degree Program is open to students holding a Bachelor’s Degree in class L-32 (Environmental Sciences), as well as to those holding other Bachelor’s, Master’s, or single-cycle degrees, provided they have obtained at least 42 ECTS credits in the following subject areas:

  • MAT, FIS, CHIM, SECS-S, INF – at least 18 ECTS credits
  • BIO, AGR, ICAR, GEO – at least 24 ECTS credits

A B1 level of English is also required. This can be demonstrated through a university course, an official certification, or will be assessed through an interview.

Pre-enrolment and Enrolment

Applicants may submit their pre-enrolment applications from July 20 to September 22, 2025, following the procedures outlined online at: https://uniss.esse3.cineca.it/Home.do (under the section Segreteria – Concorsi di ammissione).

  • Applicants who already hold a degree must upload, at the time of pre-enrolment, a certificate or self-declaration confirming they meet the admission requirements (self-certification of degree and transcript of exams).
  • Applicants who have not yet obtained their degree must upload a self-declaration of current enrolment and transcript of exams passed.

All applicants who meet the access requirements must take an admission interview, which will focus on general topics in Biology and Earth Sciences.

Applicants who have not yet earned their degree at the time of pre-enrolment must indicate that the required qualification is "to be obtained."

The admission interview will take place on September 29, 2025, at 9:30 AM at the Bionatural Sciences Campus, Via Piandanna 4, Sassari. Additional interview dates (if available) will be posted on the Department’s website https://www.dcf.uniss.it/it.

Graduates from class L-32 at the University of Sassari are exempt from the admission interview.

Conditionally admitted applicants will lose the right to enrol if they do not graduate by December 31, 2025, and complete their enrolment by January 14, 2026.
