Department Director

Starting from November 1, 2024, the Director of the Department of Chemical, Physical, Mathematical and Natural Sciences is Lidia Vera Giovanna De Luca, Full Professor of ORGANIC CHEMISTRY (Scientific Disciplinary Sector CHEM-05/A).

The Director represents the Department, convenes and chairs the Department Council, and oversees the implementation of its resolutions. Annually, the Director convenes the Council for the adoption of the Integrated Strategic Plan for the development of research, teaching, and third mission activities. Together with the Administrative Manager, the Director is responsible for the administrative and accounting management of the Department. The Director maintains relations with the University governing bodies, Central Administration, and public institutions, and supervises the organization, management, and monitoring of the tasks assigned to the technical and administrative staff. The Director signs documents of external relevance within their competence. The Director performs all functions not expressly assigned to the Department Council, in accordance with the University Statute and regulations.
